Polzeath is a beautiful seaside resort with an excellent
surfing beach. There are a number of local shops, beach cafe's, crazy
golf, trampolines and bouncy castle to entertain the whole family. DVD's
and video's can be rented from the local spar, just remember to take a driving
licence or utility bill with your home address. Fresh bread and croissants
are baked at the spar and Cost Cutter, you can take a short cut from the house down to the Spar and enjoy the warm croissants.
Simply walk to the bottom of Wentworth Close and turn left and go through the gate. This will take you to the centre of Polzeath - it just cuts out the steep hill.
Splendid hilltop walks can be reached from Polzeath beach,
and keep an eye out for Brass bands and children treasure hunts, just two
examples of the family entertainment laid on at this superb seaside resort.
The bays of Daymer and Trebetherick provide wonderful family and surfing
beaches, and the area is popular for walking with great views.

Polzeath is ideally situatted near many
attractions the Eden Project, just 30 minutes
away, Lanhydrock, an outstanding National Trust property and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, all are well worth a visit.
Polzeath has six challenging golf courses nearby,
including St Enodoc and Trevose.
Other places of interest include Tintagel, famous for King Arthur's
Castle,

and Pencarrow House near Wadebridge and just a short
ferry crossing will bring you the delights of Padstow.

Surfing, swimming and rock pooling are superb on Polzeath Beach and windsurfing is popular at Daymer Bay.
Walkers and ramblers are spoilt for choice with wonderful sea views and a wide selection of wonderful headland walks.
