Have just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks at White Rose.  We are very interested to do the same next year as there simply wasn't enough time to do everything!  Our boys LOVED the surf and Polzeath seemed the ideal beach for this.  We can really recommend a visit to Fifteen Cornwall, Watergate Bay.  We spent a wonderful 3 hours, enjoying the view, especially as it was a chilly day outside!  Food and service was superb.  Also Rick Stein's fish and chips was worth a visit.  Seabass and chips - what a treat!

Our fifth visit to North Cornwall, great time had by all as usual. Good weather at end of week, lots of great surfing and not too much badger trouble!

Go fishing for Mackeral from Port Isaac, you get immediately into fish and don't spend 1/2 hour chugging out of Rock. The Waterfront was an excellent restaurant, good with children.

An amazing week with the best weather of the summer. Great bungalow, new sliding doors an dpatio very much appreciated. We couldn't have wished for a better turn out!

Just a quick note to say 'Thank you' for a most enjoyable week at White Rose.  We had fantastic weather all of the bank holiday weekend, with  beautiful sunshine for three whole days.  After that is was overcast, but in no way spoilt our time there.  Its a lovely bungalow, in a superb position and we will certainly be recommending it to others and would like to return ourselves one day.

We have just returned from an extremely restful holiday at White Rose, which both we, and our kids, have enjoyed immensely. We found the accommodation very clean, comfortable and would certainly recommend it to others. Polzeath was great and Daymer Beach was one of the best we have been to.

We had a really wonderful time, the weather was fantastic for the whole week.  The bungalow was great and brilliantly equipped, we didn't need anything.  The location is superb for the beaches and even just relaxing in the garden looking at the amazing view was a delight.  I think Thomas summed it up while jumping over waves ' It is brilliant, this is my lucky day!'...such simplicity when you are 4!

Polzeath has great surf shops and a great beach!!!  Daymer Bay is great for families with children as it has a beautiful sandy beach and rock pools.  We recommend getting the ferry from Rock across to Padstow where there is a huge selection of shops!  We really enjoyed our stay in Polzeath!!

I visited White Rose as a child and have returned 30 years later with my family.  We have been really lucky and had excellent weather allowing us to visit the beach at Polzeath and Daymer Bay - great for little ones!  Padstow is very pretty and fun to get to by ferry.  We visited Dairyland, Lappa Valley Railway and the swimming pool at Wadebridge - ( a good learner pool).  Had a lovely time at White Rose, a lovely bungalow with superb views - thank you and look forward to coming back.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage and in Polzeath, when the surf was up it was fantastic and worthy of another visit.  Padstow also has some excellent places of interest.  We will hopefully return later in the season to catch some more waves!!

Had a great weekend - cottage is great and thanks for the tea, coffee, milk etc. We were really lucky with the weather, surf was good etc etc. All round excellent.
